Nuclear decommissioning using the Successive Principle

Decommissioning ageing nuclear power plants, including waste management, and other nuclear installations is one of the most substantial and complex programs in the world. For more than a decade, Sweden has been systematically involved in such a process and relied on these principles. Recently, both the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in Vienna and the national agency of Japan have expressed their interest in these principles. Furthermore, US government advisors have encouraged the US nuclear agency to follow suit.
